Description
The Blackstar TRRS Cable is a 1.8 m (5.9 ft) cable with a 3.5 mm TRRS plug on each end, made for live streaming and recording from a Blackstar amp to a phone or tablet. A TRRS connection carries audio both ways at once, so one cable sends the amp's sound to the device and brings playback from the device back to the amp.
Stream From Your Amp
Blackstar amps with a TRRS streaming jack, such as the ID:Core V4 series and the Acoustic:Core 30, act as an audio interface for a mobile device over this cable. Plug one end into the amp's streaming jack and the other into the device's 3.5 mm headset jack, then record or go live in apps such as GarageBand or Instagram Live. On an ID:Core V4, the channel Gain controls set the level sent to the device. For an iPhone or iPad with a Lightning port, Blackstar recommends Apple's own Lightning to 3.5 mm adapter.
