Orders above $199 qualify for Free Standard Shipping.
A few orders are not eligible: items that need specialty shipping (certain cases, stands and other gear that requires special handling), and orders shipping to Newfoundland and Labrador, the Northwest Territories or Nunavut.
Carriers sometimes charge far more for oversized freight to certain locations. In that rare case, we pay most of the extra and ask you to cover a small part.

Description
The Blackstar Polar 4 is a 4-channel USB-C audio interface built for guitarists who record, with four combo inputs, two headphone outputs, four balanced outputs and 5-pin MIDI In and Out. Every input takes a microphone, a line source or an instrument, and the instrument path runs through a high-headroom FET input stage. The Enhance switch on each channel adds a circuit modeled on the input stage of a valve amp, so amp-sim plugins feel more like a real amplifier, and it stops the instrument inputs from clipping digitally.
Enhance for Guitar and Vocals
With a guitar on the 1/4-inch input and INST selected, Enhance switches in the valve-style input circuit. With a microphone on XLR, it adds a gentle high-shelf lift for more clarity and air on vocals and acoustic guitar. The mic preamps take their voicing from classic vintage studio preamps, and a +48V switch powers condenser microphones.
Two Headphone Mixes and MIDI
The included POLAR Control app builds separate mixes: Outputs 1 and 2 feed your monitors and Headphones 1, while Outputs 3 and 4 feed Headphones 2, so a second player can hear a different blend. A virtual mix with loopback handles streaming. The 5-pin MIDI ports connect a controller or hardware synth to your DAW. The software bundle includes the full St. James plugin suite, Ableton Live Lite, ReLab LX480 Essentials and Melodyne Essential.
