Description
The Blackstar HTV-212 MK III is a 2x12 open-back extension cabinet from the HT Venue MK III series, made for guitarists who want to add speakers to an HT Venue MK III head or another amplifier. It carries two 12-inch Celestion speakers rated at 160 watts, and it runs in mono at 4 or 16 ohms or in stereo as two 8-ohm halves.
Mono or Stereo
The input jack you plug into sets the load. A single amp connects to the 4-ohm or 16-ohm mono input, and a stereo rig feeds each side through the two 8-ohm stereo inputs. Blackstar voiced the HT Venue MK III cabinets alongside the HT Venue MK III amplifiers, and they suit a wide range of other heads as well.

The open-back cabinet is built with finger-locked comb joints and heavy-duty wiring, and it shares the vintage look of the rest of the HT Venue MK III range.
