Description
The Blackstar FS-8 is a two-button footswitch for Blackstar's Artist 30, HT Club 40 and HT Club 50 tube amps. One button changes channels and the other turns the reverb on and off. Blackstar supplied the FS-8 with the Artist 30, so this unit serves as a spare or a replacement.
On the Artist 30
The FS-8 plugs into the footswitch socket on the Artist 30's rear panel. From there it switches between Channel 1 and Channel 2 and turns the reverb on and off. The front-panel Channel Select switch has to be pushed in for the footswitch to work.
Other Amps
Blackstar listed the FS-8 as compatible with the HT Club 40 and HT Club 50 as well. The MK II and MK III versions of those amps ship with the FS-15 footswitch.
