Description
The Blackstar FLY 3 Acoustic is a 3-watt battery-powered mini amp for acoustic guitar and any other acoustic instrument with a pickup, from ukulele to electric violin or mandolin. A 3-inch speaker, two switchable EQ shapes, Bass and Treble controls and a built-in echo give a natural sound for practice at home or on the go. Angled back, it also works as a small personal monitor.
EQ and Echo
The Shape switch picks a flat response that suits most instruments, or a mid cut with some low and high boost for an alternative sound. Echo Level sets how much echo blends with the dry signal, and Echo Time runs from short slapback to longer ambient repeats.
Practice, Recording and Stereo
Plug a phone, tablet or laptop into the MP3 / Line In to play along with songs. The 3.5 mm Line Out feeds headphones, a recorder, a mixer or a PA, and mutes the speaker when connected. The amp runs on six AA batteries, which are included, or on a Blackstar PSU-1 power supply. Connect a FLY 103 Acoustic to the extension socket for a 6-watt stereo setup.
