Orders above $199 qualify for Free Standard Shipping.

Description
The Blackstar Dept. 10 Boost is a valve boost pedal built around an ECC83 (12AX7) that runs at 250 V, the way it would inside a valve amp. A Class A gain stage and a passive James-Baxandall EQ act like two more hot valve stages in front of your amplifier. Use it as a clean volume boost, as extra valve EQ, or to push a valve amp into overdrive.
Controls
Boost sets the amount of gain, from a fuller, more dynamic clean sound at low settings to overdrive rich in valve harmonics as it rises. Low and High cut or boost the bass and treble, and both are flat at 12 o'clock. A built-in buffer/line driver keeps your tone intact over long cables and large pedalboards, and the valve stays visible through a guard on top.
