Description
The Blackstar MM Debut Bass 25 is the Marco Mendoza signature edition of Blackstar's 25-watt Debut Bass combo, made for home practice, backstage warm-ups and recording. Mendoza, known for his work with Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake, The Dead Daisies and SATCHVAI, used the Debut Bass 25 from its early prototypes. This edition is the same analog combo with an 8-inch speaker, finished with his Bird logo panel, a custom red covering and a custom grille cloth.
Clean and Drive
Two channels cover smooth, warm clean tones and gritty driven bass, selected with one switch. The 3-band EQ is flat at the center of each knob. Low gives up to 10 dB of boost or cut at 80 Hz, Mid up to 12 dB, and High up to 15 dB at 5 kHz. Turn Mid down for a scooped sound or up for more body.
Practice and Recording
The Line In jack takes a phone, tablet or computer so you can play along with songs or backing tracks. The Line Out / Headphones jack carries a speaker-emulated signal for silent practice or for recording into an interface or mixing desk, and plugging in a cable there turns off the internal speaker. Music from the Line In plays in mono through the speaker and in stereo through headphones.
