Description
The Blackstar Debut 100RH is a 100-watt, two-channel guitar amplifier head with the same controls and reverb as the Debut 100R combos. It suits players who want to choose their own cabinet, and Blackstar makes a matching Debut 2x12 vertical cabinet for it. A switch drops the output from 100 watts to 5 watts for quiet playing, and the speaker-emulated line out mutes the power amp for silent practice through headphones or direct recording. Blackstar's patented ISF control works with the three-band EQ to move the tone between an American and a British character.
Two Channels and Reverb
The Clean channel has its own volume and a Bright switch for extra top end, and it moves from clean into a light crunch as the volume goes up. The Overdrive channel has separate Gain and Volume controls and runs from crunch to a saturated lead sound. The digital reverb switches between a bright plate and a darker hall with a longer decay. A 2-button latching footswitch, sold separately, changes channels and turns the reverb on and off.
Speaker Outputs and Connections
The rear panel has one 16-ohm and one 8-ohm speaker output. The 16-ohm output takes a single 16-ohm extension cabinet, and the 8-ohm output takes a single 8-ohm extension cabinet. Do not connect the head to a 4-ohm cabinet input. The Line In lets you play along with music from a phone, and a series effects loop with Send and Return jacks takes external effects units.
