Description
Open Box: This product has been opened for quality control or showcase, but it is in brand new condition. Full warranty applies.
The Blackstar Beam Solo is a headphone amp for electric, bass and acoustic guitar that plugs straight into the instrument through a folding 1/4-inch jack. It runs Blackstar's amp and pedal models with CabRig IR cabinet simulation and In The Room technology, which gives the feel of playing next to a real amp, and the free Beam app opens up the full library. It weighs 62.5 g and runs for more than 5 hours on a charge.
Control on the Unit and in the App
The SpeedDial and Light Beam display set patch, gain, EQ, effects and volume without a phone, and XpressFX changes the depth of every active effect at once. On Blackstar amp models the EQ control moves the patented ISF from American to British voicing. Five patches are stored on the unit, and the Beam app for iOS and Android holds as many more as you like, along with Artist patches, backing tracks, video lessons and community tones.
Record and Stream
Connected over USB-C, the Beam Solo works as an audio interface at 44.1 or 48 kHz, with processed stereo guitar, a clean guitar DI and a headset mic DI. A TRRS headset in the 3.5 mm jack adds a mic with its own preamp and reverb, and USB loopback mode mixes in playback for livestreams. Bluetooth streams songs to jam along with, and Headphone Damping in the app tunes the top end to your headphones.
