Description
The Blackstar amPlug2 FLY Guitar is a headphone amp that plugs straight into your guitar for quiet practice anywhere. It has three channels, Clean, Crunch and Lead, with Blackstar's patented ISF tone control and nine built-in effects, and runs for up to 17 hours on two AAA batteries. The jack folds through 180 degrees to fit any guitar body, so no cable is needed.
Three Channels and ISF
Clean has a bright chime that breaks up when pushed, Crunch is a hot-rodded classic drive with clear note definition, and Lead adds a harmonically rich, mid-boosted overdrive for riffs and solos. Crunch and Lead clean up as you roll back the guitar's volume, the way an amp does. The ISF control sweeps from a tight, aggressive American character to a woodier British one.
Pedals, Play-Along and Recording
Placed at the end of a pedal chain, the amPlug2 FLY takes pedals the way an amp would. The Aux input brings in music from a phone or player to jam along with, and tap tempo sets the timing of the effects. The output is speaker emulated, so it also suits direct recording or a feed to a PA, and the unit switches itself off after 30 minutes without a signal.
