How does RANDOM work?
At its core RANDOM employs neural network principles to navigate accross an infinite array of utterly unique sounds.
Central to the experience is the transformative power of the RANDOM WHEEL, a gateway to two distinct systems: the Synth and the Resonator. Through hundreds of parameters, DEVIANCE determines the extent of randomization with each spin of the wheel.
The controls
The sonic landscape is sculpted by the influence of STRESS, dictating the decay length of the synth.
SPIKE control imparts an aggressive quality, with darker, warmer tones on one end and a more assertive, edgier palette on the other.
BLEED and FLUID provide a delicate dance of influence over the resonator, allowing for modulation of color and presence.

Within these X/Y Tables, a treasure trove of handcrafted timbres awaits, driven by neural networks that seamlessly morph between points as your cursor traverses the digital canvas.
Here, the MATTER comes alive, pulsating within the 2 dimensional table, guided by the very essence of Ferrofluid dynamics – attraction and repulsion – responding intuitively to your creative touch.
Artists collaboration - Phazz
We met Phazz in 2016, we were delighted by his work and we connected on a producer/geek level, talking about music production things. When we started creating plugins, we knew we wanted to make something radical with him.
As we started gearing up to make our plugins, our brains began connecting; We met many times at our HQ, sketching and throwing ideas on the whiteboard with Phazz to define the “RANDOM” experience.
Ultimately, we wanted a synth that would take us on exciting new journeys in sound design, resampling, and improvisation. Phazz had a strong sound direction in mind; inharmonic, aliased, resonating, flanging, and hard percussive tones.
The RANDOM plugin embodies our vision of combining depth with simplicity, allowing users to effortlessly navigate through sounds. The creation of RANDOM has been a journey of invention and imagination for Phazz and us. We are always striving for RANDOM to catalyze your next creative endeavor.
