Description
The Avantone Pro CV-12 is a tube true condenser with a dual-sided 32 mm center-terminated gold-sputtered 6 μm capsule and a 6072A tube. Nine polar patterns are selected at the PS-12 power supply. The transformer-coupled tube path and precision-machined brass body (Cabernet finish with polished nickel trim) are aimed at warm vocal and acoustic capture.
Tube Path and Pattern Control
Pattern selection at the PSU covers cardioid through omni and figure-8 for lead vocals and multi-mic techniques. A -10 dB pad and 80 Hz high-pass handle loud sources; max SPL is 136 dB, or 146 dB with the pad. The included Custom Retro shockmount isolates stand vibration.
