Description
The Avantone Pro BV-1 MkII is a tube large-diaphragm condenser with a handpicked edge-terminated 34 mm CK12-style capsule, Russian 6072A tube, and a custom Cinemag output transformer designed for this microphone. Polar patterns sweep from figure-8 through cardioid to omni for vocals and featured acoustic sources.
CK12-Style Capsule and Cinemag Output
The edge-terminated capsule and Cinemag transformer define the MkII character: open highs, solid low-mid weight, and transformer color on lead vocals. A -10 dB pad and 80 Hz high-pass cover loud sources; max SPL is 134 dB, or 144 dB with the pad. The package includes the full accessory suite: PSU, shockmount, padded wood box, road case, 7-pin cable, and pop filter.
