The Austrian Audio OD303 is a rugged supercardioid dynamic vocal microphone for rehearsal rooms, small stages, and hard touring. Die-cast housing and a balanced, open-yet-powerful voicing make it a dependable handheld when you want Austrian Audio character without condenser power requirements. No phantom power is needed, so it works with any standard XLR vocal channel.
ODC50 Dual Capsule and 3D Pop Diffuser
The ODC50 dual-capsule design reduces handling noise and low-frequency stage vibration that often muddies handheld dynamics. Austrian Audio's 3D Pop Noise Diffuser tames explosive consonants at the grille so many singers can work without a separate foam windscreen. Holding the mic close to the grille does not collapse the polar pattern the way some dynamics do, which keeps FOH EQ more predictable night to night.
Open Acoustics Pattern Control
Open Acoustics tuning gives a stable supercardioid pattern across a wide band with strong feedback resistance for wedges and loud backlines. Use the OD303 for lead or backing vocals, spoken word, and any gig where a tough, clear dynamic is the right tool. OCH1 clip and MZP3 pouch are available separately.
