Description
The Austrian Audio OC-S10 is a reference large-diaphragm condenser for lead vocals and solo instruments. Five polar patterns, dual XLR outputs, -10/-20 dB pads, and 40/80/160 Hz low-cut filters give session flexibility, while the heavier body and low self-noise suit critical tracking where small details matter.
Dual Output and Post Tools
Both outputs are standard XLR. Record dual channels and use PolarDesigner or StereoCreator in post to refine pattern and stereo image after the take. Pads reduce capsule voltage rather than only padding the output, preserving headroom on loud sources.
Studio Set Mounting
The included ball-joint shockmount allows fine aiming. A magnetically attached metal mesh pop filter reduces plosives while keeping more of the vocal spectrum than thick foam screens. Wooden mic case and hard case protect the set in storage and transit.
