Description
The Austrian Audio OC707WL1 puts the OC707's OCC7 true condenser capsule on wireless handheld transmitters with Shure, Sony, and Lectrosonics compatible threading. Singers who need to move freely keep the same open, voice-focused cardioid character as the wired OC707 over the RF link.
Wireless Without Losing the Voicing
Proximity effect is optimized for handheld technique, and Open Acoustics design still applies at the capsule. The wireless capsule runs from the transmitter's 5-10 V bias supply rather than 48 V phantom. Sensitivity and self-noise differ from the wired OC707 because of that wireless interface; treat it as the wireless counterpart, not an identical electrical twin.
