Description
The Austrian Audio OC7 is a cardioid true condenser instrument microphone with the OCC7 capsule and Open Acoustics voicing optimized for drums, piano, acoustic guitar, and other high-transient sources. Handmade in Vienna, it delivers the open OC character in a compact body that sits close to the kit or amp.
220° Swivel Joint
The microphone basket rotates through 220° so you can aim the capsule at the sweet spot without loosening the stand or fighting a gooseneck. That speed matters on toms and percussion where small angle changes make large tonal differences.
Pads and Filters
A -10 dB pad and 40/80 Hz low-cut filters handle loud stages and close miking. Use the OC7 wherever you want condenser detail with practical live and studio placement: snares and toms, piano, acoustic guitar, and strings.
