Description
The Austrian Audio OC616 is a multi-pattern large-diaphragm condenser built around the new 1-inch CKR12 ceramic capsule, edge-terminated and handmade in Vienna. Five polar patterns, three high-pass filters and two pads let one microphone handle vocals, voiceover, acoustic instruments, loud sources and stereo techniques like Mid/Side.
Open Acoustics
Austrian Audio's Open Acoustics design removes internal reflections and acoustic interference before they reach the capsule, so the sound stays clear, direct and three-dimensional. With 157 dB maximum SPL and 134 dB of dynamic range, the OC616 goes from quiet voice work to guitar cabinets and drums.
