Description
The Austrian Audio OC16 brings Open Condenser sound to a simpler large-diaphragm cardioid package. It uses the same handmade CKR6 ceramic capsule family as the OC18, with Open Acoustics design that reduces internal reflections so vocals, acoustic instruments, and content-creation work stay clear and natural.
Filters Without Complexity
A 40 Hz low-cut removes rumble; a 160 Hz setting tames proximity when you work close to the grille. There are no pads, which keeps the control layout short for home and project studios. Each capsule is tested in Vienna before the mic ships.
Studio Set
The Studio Set includes the OCS6 spider mount, OCH8 clip, and MSC6 soft case so the mic is ready to hang without buying hardware separately. It is a practical step into the OC line for singers, producers, and streamers who want professional condenser character without multipattern features.
