The Austrian Audio Hi-X20 is a closed-back over-ear headphone for recording artists, engineers, and content creators who want Hi-X precision without a flagship price. Tuning aims for balanced mids and highs with bass that is powerful but not overblown, and measured THD stays very low even in the low end where many headphones smear.
Build and Comfort
Metal hinges and a metal headband take daily packing abuse. The foldable design fits a backpack, slow-retention memory foam pads stay comfortable for long sessions, and the patented earpad mount keeps pads secure while still allowing replacement. A 3 m detachable cable, 1/4" adapter, and carry bag ship in the box.
Where It Fits
Use the Hi-X20 for tracking, editing, and reference listening when you need isolation and a longer cable reach around a console or vocal booth.
