Austrian Audio DMK1 Drum Microphone Kit

The Austrian Audio DMK1 is a complete eight-microphone drum kit built around three large-diaphragm condensers: an OC-B6 for kick, two OC18s for overheads, three OC7s for toms, an OD5 for snare, and a CC8 for hi-hat. Rim holders, clips, windscreens, and a waterproof touring case travel with the mics so the set stays studio-ready and stage-ready without improvised mounts.

Role of Each Microphone

The OC-B6 is a large-diaphragm condenser purpose-built for kick, with headroom for inside, port, and outside placements. The OD5 active-dynamic locks onto snare with punch and controlled spill. Three OC7 true condensers cover toms with 220° swivel heads for fast positioning. Dual OC18s handle overheads with open highs and solid lows, and the CC8 captures hi-hat with small-diaphragm detail.

Touring Package

Four DPH12 drum holders and seven OCH8 clips mount the kit without goosenecks. Windscreens for the condensers and the DMC1 waterproof case protect the set between gigs. The kit is aimed at engineers, rental houses, and venues that want one coherent drum package rather than a mixed bag of unrelated mics.
