Description
The Studio Elite 8 (STE8) is a premium 8-piece studio microphone package that covers a five-piece drum kit. Designed, assembled, and tested by Audix in the USA, the Audix D Series and i5 represent the finest dynamic instrument microphones available today. Combined with the SCX25A and the SCX1HC, they make up the Studio Elite 8, a compelling array of eight drum microphones that will suit a wide variety of needs for critical recording applications. This collection of microphones enables artists and engineers to capture the sound at the source, regardless of the type of instrument or genre of music.
The D6 handles the kick drum, the i5 the snare, the D2 and D4 the rack and floor toms, the SCX1HC the hi-hat, and the two SCX25A condensers the overheads. The kick, snare and tom mics use Audix VLM™ capsule technology, and the included DVICE rim mounts eliminate the need for bulky mic stands.
