Description
The SMT1218R is a rubber insulated flange shock mount for Audix ADX series miniature gooseneck condenser microphones, such as the ADX12 and ADX18 and the ADX212 and ADX218. Audix also lists it as the optional shock mount for the MicroPod series and the MG12, MG15 and MG18 goosenecks.
It is used in place of the TM1218 flange table mount supplied with these microphones when a permanent installation on a table, podium or other flat surface needs more shock mounting or isolation. Installing it requires boring out a 2" (51 mm) hole.
