Description
The f6 is a dynamic instrument microphone from the Audix Fusion Series, microphones that represent affordable excellence. It is designed for instruments requiring bass reproduction in live and studio applications, such as kick drum, large toms, bass cabinets and Leslie bottom. The f6’s hypercardioid pick-up pattern helps to minimize feedback and isolate the instrument from ambient sounds on stage.
The f6 instrument microphone has low impedance and balanced output providing interference-free performance. With a frequency response of 40 Hz to 16 kHz, it handles sound pressure levels of 140 dB. It is built with a precision cast zinc alloy body, a black E-coat finish, a dent-resistant steel mesh grille and a gold-plated XLR connector, and comes with a DCLIP snap-on clip and a P1 carrying pouch. The f6 is designed, assembled and tested by Audix in the USA.
