Description
The Audio-Technica AT-LP7X is a fully manual belt-drive turntable with a dense MDF plinth and a 20 mm acrylic platter. It plays 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records and includes a switchable MM/MC phono preamp. This finish is matte black.
Tonearm and Preamp
A static-balanced J-shaped tonearm (effective length 247 mm / 9.7") has VTA adjustment and ships with an AT-LT10 headshell and AT-VM95E BK cartridge (0.3 x 0.7 mil elliptical). An included light subcounterweight supports cartridge/headshell combinations up to 23.5 g. The built-in preamp switches PHONO/LINE and MM (36 dB) / MC (56 dB). An optical sensor monitors platter speed; the motor sits on rubber bushings. The AC adapter is external.
