Description
The Audio-Technica AT-LP5X is a fully manual direct-drive turntable that plays 33-1/3, 45, and 78 RPM records and connects through a switchable MM/MC phono preamp or USB. This finish is matte black.
Tonearm and Preamp
A J-shaped tonearm (effective length 247 mm / 9.72") uses a metallic gimbal suspension and ships with an AT-HS6 headshell and AT-VM95E cartridge (0.3 x 0.7 mil elliptical). The built-in preamp offers MM gain of 36 dB or MC gain of 56 dB, both RIAA equalized, plus PHONO bypass. USB records at 16-bit, 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz.
