Description

The Audio-Technica AE2300 is a cardioid dynamic instrument microphone with a double-dome diaphragm, built for guitar amps, brass, woodwinds, drums, and other high-SPL sources on stage or in the studio. A switchable 6 kHz low-pass filter cuts amp hiss and hi-hat bleed without changing the instrument's overall tone.

Placement and Isolation

  • Cardioid pattern stays consistent across the frequency range, with little off-axis coloration for multi-mic setups
  • AT8471 isolation clamp reduces stand-borne noise
