Description
The Apogee MiC Plus is a USB cardioid condenser microphone for vocals, voiceover, podcasting, and acoustic instruments on Mac, Windows, iPad, and iPhone. It captures a clean, uncompressed signal, which makes it the choice when you want to handle dynamics in the mix rather than at the microphone. If you want compression printed as you record, the HypeMiC adds a built-in analog compressor in the same form factor.
Monitoring and Control
A front-panel headphone output with a blend control lets you balance the microphone against playback from the computer for latency-free monitoring. A single top-panel encoder sets gain, headphone level, and blend, and a multicolor LED shows level and status.
