Description
The Apogee Boom is a 2x2 bus-powered USB-C audio interface with one combination mic/line input, a dedicated Hi-Z instrument input, and onboard DSP that runs Apogee's Symphony ECS Channel Strip without loading your computer. It is aimed at songwriters and producers who want Apogee conversion and a hardware channel strip in a small desktop box.
Onboard Symphony ECS Channel Strip
Boom includes hardware DSP for the Symphony ECS Channel Strip, an EQ, compressor, and saturation chain designed by Bob Clearmountain. Because it runs on the interface itself, you can print the processed sound or monitor through it with no added plug-in latency and no CPU hit on the host computer.
