Description
The AlphaTheta WAVE-EIGHT is a portable, battery-powered 8-inch DJ speaker with SonicLink ultra-low-latency wireless audio. IPX4 water resistance, 8 hours of battery life, and integrated casters and retractable handle make it practical for outdoor events where running cables is not an option.
SonicLink Wireless
The included SonicLink transmitter stores in a compartment on the speaker. Connect it to your DJ gear and the speaker receives audio wirelessly with far less delay than a Bluetooth connection. Link multiple WAVE-EIGHT units over SonicLink: two speakers in stereo for an expanded soundstage, or add a third as a dedicated subwoofer. Sound modes (Mono, Stereo, Subwoofer) switch with a single button.
Sound
A Class D amplifier (110 W) drives an 8-inch woofer and 1-inch soft dome tweeter in a 2-way bass-reflex configuration. The Vortex Bass Accelerator reinforces low-end output for clear, powerful bass in open-air settings. Pair with the OMNIS-DUO for a fully wireless, battery-powered DJ setup.
