Description
The AlphaTheta SLAB is the first dedicated hardware controller for Serato Studio, built for hands-on sampling, sequencing, and beat-making. Sixteen velocity-sensitive performance pads, four touch-sensitive encoders, a long-stroke touch strip, and a large dial put Serato Studio's creative tools under your fingers without menu diving.
Performance Pads
Sixteen 29 × 29 mm pads with velocity support and adjustable aftertouch across four modes: Pad, Pad FX, Trigger, and Step Sequencer. LED bars sync with the Serato Studio GUI for clear visual feedback during performance.
Encoders & Dial
Four encoder modes (EQ, Stems, FX, Parameter) let you shape sounds in real time. Focus Control mode enables direct plugin parameter control without manual mapping. The large dial also handles library navigation and scrubbing, with instant access to assignment and control settings.
Touch Strip
A long-stroke touch strip with high-visibility RGB indicators for precise real-time control of filter, pitch, effects level, and swing.
Transport Section
Core transport controls shared by Serato Studio and other DAWs, with CDJ-inspired circular play and record buttons. Clear panel zoning improves visibility during production and performance.
