Description
The Akai Professional MPX8 is a compact sample pad controller and standalone sample player with 8 velocity- and pressure-sensitive pads, an SD/SDHC card slot for loading custom samples (up to 32 GB), and onboard reverb and per-pad tuning controls. It ships with 21 built-in sounds plus access to over 300 additional samples through the Akai Pro Loop Library, and connects via both USB-MIDI and traditional 5-pin MIDI (via 1/8" TRS adapters).
