Akai MPC Key 61 Standalone Production Synthesizer Keyboard

The Akai Professional MPC Key 61 is a standalone production synthesizer that pairs a 61-key semi-weighted keybed with aftertouch with the full MPC sampling, sequencing, and synthesis platform. It runs independently without a computer, housing 25 plug-in instrument engines with over 6,000 presets, more than 100 studio-quality effects, and a built-in 2-in/2-out USB audio interface. XLR/TRS combo inputs with switchable phantom power handle microphones, instruments, and line sources directly.

Sound Engine

Twenty-five plug-in instruments span synthesizers, electric and acoustic pianos, organs, strings, and sample-based instruments. Each features advanced synthesis, deep parameter editing, and modern effects. Over 100 insert effects include reverb, delay, compressors, limiters, and the AIR Vocal Suite for vocal processing and sound design.
