Description
The ADAM Audio H200 is a closed-back, circumaural studio headphone designed in Berlin with 40 mm PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone) performance drivers and neodymium magnets. PEEK's high stiffness-to-weight ratio produces a smooth 2 Hz to 23.5 kHz frequency response with less than 0.02% THD, and the closed-back design provides 40 dB of passive isolation above 4 kHz. The detachable cable plugs into either earcup for flexible studio routing.
Sound & Comfort
The 40 mm PEEK drivers are paired with ADAM's patented internal airflow technology, using the S Series monitors as a tonal benchmark. Memory foam earpads with artificial leather provide a secure seal and long-session comfort. The headband's progressive opening curve distributes pressure evenly without excessive clamping force. Weight is 250 g (8.8 oz) without cable.
Modular Design
Earpads, headband padding, and the cable are all user-replaceable without tools. Optional velour pads shift the tonality slightly, opening up the upper mids. The cable connects via 2.5 mm TRS to either the left or right earcup with a collar resistance lock.
Software
The free ADAM Audio Headphone Utility plug-in (AU/VST) adds crossfeed for spatial monitoring and two voicing modes: Pure (neutral, modeled on the S3H) and UNR (Uniform Natural Response).
