About MeldaProduction

MeldaProduction is a Prague-based plugin developer founded in 2008 by Vojtěch Meluzín, a multi-instrumentalist and programmer who built the company's entire DSP and GUI framework from scratch. Instead of chasing analog emulations, MeldaProduction focuses on experimental processors and modular instruments that push beyond traditional plugin designs. The company is known for its generous free plugin bundle, lifetime updates on all purchases, and a catalog that includes everything from surgical mixing tools to the modular MSoundFactory synthesizer. MDrummer, their first product, started as a series of university projects and set the tone for a company that builds tools for sound designers and engineers who want deep control.

Mixing and Mastering Processors

MeldaProduction's mixing tools are built for precision work. MTurboComp delivers transparent compression with a focus on control rather than color. MMatcher analyzes one track and applies its spectral character to another, useful for matching reverb tails or making a vocal sit in a dense mix. MCenter handles mid-side processing with surgical detail, letting you carve out space in a stereo field without phase issues. These plugins don't try to sound like hardware. They give you the parameters to shape a mix on your terms.

Modular Instruments

MSoundFactory is MeldaProduction's flagship modular synthesizer, a deep sound design platform that combines sample playback, synthesis, and effects in a single engine. The company releases free add-on instrument packs for MSoundFactory owners, including PowerWoodwinds, PowerStrings, PowerBrass, and the Analog Empire series. These add-ons are also sold separately for use in the free MSoundFactoryPlayer, so you can build a custom instrument library without buying the full synth. MDrummer takes the same modular approach to drum programming, with deep control over individual kit pieces and MIDI processing.

Specialty Tools

MeldaProduction builds plugins for specific problems. MMicSim models microphone characteristics, letting you audition different mic choices after tracking. MTrackAlign corrects phase issues between multi-miked sources, essential for drum recordings or doubled guitars. MDelay is a modulated delay with routing options that go far beyond a standard echo. These tools handle tasks that most plugin bundles skip, and they do it with the same free-for-life update policy that covers the entire catalog.
