About Kuassa

PT Kuassa Teknika is an Indonesian plug-in developer based in Bandung, founded in 2009 by Grahadea Kusuf, Arie Ardiansyah, and Adhitya Wibisana. The company describes itself as the first original music software developed in Indonesia, and it's run by working musicians and engineers who understand what a guitar or bass track needs. Kuassa is known for two main series: Amplifikation for amp simulation and Efektor for stompbox-style effects. Both are available in VST, VST3, AU, AAX, standalone, and Reason Rack Extension formats. Amplifikation 360 is their modular host that lets you stack pedals, amps, and cabs from across the catalog. Each generation of their tube and circuit modelling has refined the sonic accuracy, with Amplifikation Caliburn introducing their third-generation tube simulation in 2017.

Amplifikation Amp Sims

The Amplifikation series covers classic and modern guitar amp tones. Amplifikation One handles clean to crunch British sounds. Amplifikation Vermilion was the first third-party guitar amp released as a Reason Rack Extension back in 2013. Amplifikation Caliburn brought high-gain British tones with that third-gen tube modelling. Each plug-in includes cabinet simulation and mic placement controls, so you can dial in a full rig without leaving your DAW. The series targets guitarists who want authentic amp response without the volume or the maintenance.

Efektor Pedal Series

Efektor pedals recreate classic stompbox circuits in plug-in form. The Blues Brothers Bundle pairs Blues River overdrive with Blues Barker distortion for stacked gain stages. Omnivibe, Ringmojo, Rotarion, and Vibracula handle modulation duties, from optical vibe to ring mod to rotary speaker effects. Each pedal is a single-purpose tool with the same straightforward interface you'd find on hardware. You can use them standalone or chain them in Amplifikation 360 for a full pedalboard-to-amp signal path.

Cerberus Bass Amp

Cerberus is Kuassa's bass amp sim. It models tube and solid-state bass heads with cabinet options suited to different playing styles. The plug-in includes EQ, compression, and DI blending so you can shape low-end without reaching for multiple processors. Bass players tracking at home or mixing in the box get a consistent foundation without needing to mic a cab or rent a studio with proper bass monitoring.
