Description
The KRK KNS 8402 is a pair of closed-back, circumaural studio headphones designed for tracking, editing, mixing, and critical listening. With 40mm neodymium drivers, a 5 Hz to 23 kHz frequency response, and up to 30 dBA of passive noise isolation, they deliver accurate frequency response and stereo imaging without bleed into nearby microphones.
Sound & Comfort
The 40mm neodymium dynamic drivers deliver a wide, flat frequency response from 5 Hz to 23 kHz with less than 0.1% harmonic distortion. Acoustic memory foam ear pads conform to the ear for long-session comfort while providing up to 30 dBA of ambient noise isolation. Maximum SPL reaches 124 dB.
Build & Durability
Impact-resistant plastic construction keeps the headphones lightweight at 8.7 oz (247 g). The 8.2 ft (2.5 m) detachable cable uses 99.99% OFC conductors with a gold-plated 3.5mm connector and screw-on 6.3mm adapter. Ear pads, head cushion, and cable are all field-replaceable.
