Nektar

Keyboard controllers that connect straight into your DAW.

About Nektar

Nektar Technology is a California-based company that builds MIDI controllers designed around deep DAW integration. Their keyboards and control surfaces talk directly to your production software without complex mapping. Press a button, and it does what you expect in Cubase, Logic, Ableton, or Reason. No MIDI learn sessions, no guesswork. Nektar's approach is practical: give producers and composers hardware that speeds up workflow instead of adding another layer of menu diving. Their Impact and Panorama lines cover everything from compact 25-key models to full 88-key weighted controllers.

Impact Series Controllers

The Impact line balances affordability with real functionality. The Impact LX88 MK3 gives you 88 hammer-action keys, nine faders, eight rotary encoders, and transport controls that map instantly to major DAWs. The Impact LX25+ and LX61+ models add expanded pad banks for finger drumming and clip launching. These aren't just keyboards with knobs bolted on. The integration means your mixer faders, plugin parameters, and transport controls are right there under your hands. The Impact GX series strips things down further for tighter budgets while keeping the core DAW control intact.

Panorama and Specialized Controllers

The Panorama CS12 is a control surface without keys. A motorized 100 mm channel fader, twelve encoders with LED rings, and dedicated DAW buttons for producers who already have a keyboard or prefer to work with software instruments and mixing. Nektar also makes the PACER foot controller for hands-free operation during performance or recording. Stomp to start playback, trigger loops, or switch presets without reaching for the mouse. The Aruba Beat Composer is a pad controller built for rhythm programming and sample triggering, with velocity-sensitive pads and a step sequencer mode.

Accessories and Expansion

Nektar's NP-1 and NP-2 foot switches and pedals extend control options for sustain, expression, or custom DAW commands. The MIDIFlex 4 is a USB hub and MIDI interface that lets you connect multiple controllers and MIDI gear through a single cable. Nektar also offers the SE series for entry-level setups: the SE25, SE49, and SE61 provide basic keyboard control and DAW integration at lower price points. Decksaver cases are available for most Impact and Panorama models to protect your investment during transport or storage.
