LANDR Audio Inc. is a Montreal-based company that launched in 2012 with a single ambitious idea: automate mastering using machine learning. The technology came out of research at Queen Mary University of London's Centre for Digital Music, commercialized through Montreal incubator TandemLaunch. When the LANDR mastering service went public in 2014, it was one of the first AI-driven mastering platforms available to independent musicians. The name itself refers to the left and right channels of a stereo signal. Today, LANDR has grown into a full subscription platform bundling cloud-based mastering, distribution, samples, virtual instruments, and a suite of mixing plugins.

LANDR Mastering
