Inspired Acoustics is the product division of ENTEL Engineering Research and Consulting Ltd, a Budapest-based acoustic consultancy founded in 2005. ENTEL's day job is architectural acoustics, they helped create Hungary's room acoustic and electroacoustic standards, and that expertise shows in their software. Inspirata is a computational reverb workstation built from detailed measurements of real spaces, from cathedrals to bedrooms. Instead of convolution or algorithmic reverb, Inspirata lets you design the space itself: adjust room dimensions, materials, mic placement, and listener position. It's reverb built by practising acoustic consultants for music production, post-production, and immersive audio.

Computational Reverb Technology

Inspirata samples dozens of real acoustic environments, 37 spaces at last count, and models them computationally. You're not just loading an impulse response. You can change the room's size, swap wall materials, move the sound source, and reposition the listener. The plugin recalculates the reverb in real time based on your edits. This approach suits engineers who need precise control over spatial characteristics without building a custom convolution library. Roompacks expand the library with curated space collections. Music Pro Roompack 1 and Post Pro Roompack 1 add genre-specific environments.
