Description
The Warm Audio Fluff Drive is a high-gain overdrive pedal designed to hit the front of an amp hard, pushing power tubes into controlled saturation for modern metal and heavy guitar tones. Built around a classic 1980s overdrive platform with purpose-built modifications, the Fluff Drive delivers aggressive mids, tight low-end response, and immediate clarity for down-tuned, extended-range, and standard guitars alike. This is the teal limited edition finish.
A modded low-boost circuit tightens bass response around the low-mid range, preventing flub under heavy gain on 7-string, 8-string, and baritone guitars. The mid-enhance control sweeps midrange emphasis, and a pre/post toggle places that boost before or after the gain stage for either saturated thickness or enhanced articulation. An all-analog noise gate with selectable high/low sensitivity (300 ms attack, 20 ms release) keeps unwanted feedback in check between riffs without choking sustain. Engaging the voltage boost doubles the internal supply from 9V to 18V via a switch-cap voltage doubler, increasing headroom, output level, and dynamic range before clipping.
