Description
The Universal Audio Thunderbolt 3 Option Card adds dual Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports to compatible rackmount Apollo interfaces that have an available option-card bay. It is user-installable and provides up to 40 Gbps Thunderbolt bandwidth plus 15 W bus power for downstream Thunderbolt 3 devices.
Compatibility
For rackmount Apollo models that accept a Thunderbolt option card (classic Apollo / Apollo 16 FireWire-era and other bay-equipped rack units). Latest Apollo X Gen 2 rack interfaces ship with Thunderbolt 3 already installed and do not need this card. Not for Apollo Twin / Twin X / x4 desktop units.
