This is an open-box unit of the Apollo x8 Gen 2 Essentials+ Bundle. It is brand new, unused gear returned with packaging that may show retail handling. Full manufacturer warranty applies.
The Universal Audio Apollo x8 Gen 2 is an 18 x 24 rackmount Thunderbolt 3 audio interface with four Unison mic preamps, HEXA Core DSP, and elite-class Apollo X Gen 2 conversion at 24-bit / 192 kHz for Mac and Windows. Four Unison preamps cover common tracking sessions without expanders. Surround monitoring up to 7.1 is supported via UAD Console.

DSP, Console, and Monitoring
HEXA Core (six SHARC processors) runs UAD plug-ins in realtime for tracking and mixing, and can be combined with native host processing. UAD Console provides Auto-Gain (on models with Unison preamps), Plug-In Scenes, Bass Management, talkback, Apollo Monitor Correction powered by Sonarworks, and expandable Thunderbolt Apollo systems (up to four units).
