The Universal Audio Apollo x6 Gen 2 is a 16 x 22 rackmount Thunderbolt 3 audio interface with two Unison mic preamps, HEXA Core DSP, and elite-class Apollo X Gen 2 conversion at 24-bit / 192 kHz for Mac and Windows. It suits project and pro rooms that need a compact rack interface with outboard-friendly line I/O. Surround monitoring up to 5.1 is supported via UAD Console.

DSP, Console, and Monitoring

HEXA Core (six SHARC processors) runs UAD plug-ins in realtime for tracking and mixing, and can be combined with native host processing. UAD Console provides Auto-Gain (on models with Unison preamps), Plug-In Scenes, Bass Management, talkback, Apollo Monitor Correction powered by Sonarworks, and expandable Thunderbolt Apollo systems (up to four units).
