Description
u-he Twangstrom is a physically modelled spring reverb plugin with three tank models inspired by popular guitar and instrument amp springs. Unlike impulse-response reverbs, tank dimensions and behaviour are controllable in realtime, including a Shake control that excites the springs manually or via modulation.
Processing and Modulation
A drive and tone stage colours the input, followed by a multimode resonant filter. An envelope stage offers follower, attack/decay, attack/release, or cyclic modes, triggered from input, output, or sidechain. An LFO and a three-slot modulation matrix (Shake included as a target) animate the tank and filter for evolving textures.
