Description
The Tascam DP-24SD is a standalone 24-track digital multitrack recorder with 8 simultaneous recording tracks, 19 faders, a 3.5-inch color LCD, and built-in effects processing. Designed for complete music production without a computer, the DP-24SD provides eight XLR/TRS mic inputs with phantom power, 3-band EQ on every channel, and mastering effects for polished final mixes, all recorded to an SD card.
24-Track Recording and Mixing
Record up to 8 tracks simultaneously with 24-track playback (12 mono + 6 stereo tracks). Virtual tracks (8 per track) let you keep multiple takes and comp the best performance. The 19 faders (45 mm) provide tactile mixing control, while 12 rotary encoders manage EQ, effects sends, and panning.
Inputs and Phantom Power
Eight XLR/TRS combo inputs provide balanced connections for microphones and line sources. Phantom power (+48V) is switchable in banks of four (A-D and E-H). INPUT H includes a high-impedance switch for direct input recording of electric guitar or bass without a DI box.
