Shure SM7dB Dynamic Vocal Microphone with Built-In Preamp

The SM7dB is the modern evolution of the legendary SM7B, featuring a custom Shure-designed built-in active preamplifier that provides up to +28 dB of clean gain. This eliminates the need for external gain boosters like the Cloudlifter, making the SM7dB work effortlessly with any XLR interface while preserving the iconic SM7 sound character. A bypass switch reverts the microphone to original SM7B passive performance.

Sound and Shielding

The same flat, wide-range frequency response as the SM7B, preserved identically at all gain settings. Bass rolloff and mid-range emphasis (presence boost) switches provide tone shaping. Advanced electromagnetic shielding eliminates broadband hum, and the internal air-suspension shock mount isolates against mechanical vibration.
