The Sennheiser MKH 8090 is a modular RF condenser wide-cardioid microphone head in the MKH 8000 series. Wider than the 8040 cardioid, it suits natural spots on ensembles, room-ish closes, and stereo pairs that need a gentle pattern. Extended 30 - 50,000 Hz response matches the rest of the modular line.
