Designed for use with snare drums and toms, the sE Electronics V BEAT is a dynamic supercardioid microphone. It offers a low-profile design that attaches easily to the rim of drum heads. The mic provides highly accurate, naturalistic audio capture while keeping cables out of the drummer's line of sight and making it easier to maneuver around the kit without fear of accidentally striking a mic head.

At the heart of the V BEAT is its DMC7 X capsule, which utilizes an aluminum voice coil for a transient-rich sound and a bottom end extending low enough to record the fundamental frequencies of toms and snares. Its supercardioid pickup pattern ensures little bleed, helping you isolate the sound source from other drums or cymbals. The capsule is suspended inside the mic to keep it decoupled from mechanical vibration, shocks, and jolts.
