Description
Developed in close collaboration with Rupert Neve, the sE Electronics RNT is a flagship large-diaphragm, multi-pattern tube condenser microphone that brings the larger-than-life sound of classic studio tube mics into the modern age. A handcrafted 1-inch true-condenser dual-diaphragm capsule, hand-selected ECC82 tube stage, and custom Rupert Neve Designs transformers capture vocals and instruments with enhanced depth and sonic clarity.
The floor-box power supply houses a second custom Rupert Neve Designs output transformer built around the same discrete op-amps used in the 5088 console. A nine-position polar pattern switch, three switchable gain stages, and active 40/80 Hz low-cut filters give you precise control over source pickup and ambient bleed.
